Specifications

This amazing cutaway acoustic-electric is a custom John Timblin hand-crafted guitar. Mr. Timblin was an accomplished luthier and past president of Luthiers Interactive of North Texas. He built a limited number of unique custom designed guitars prior to his passing in 2009.

Many of his guitars were crafted as an homage to his appreciation for the female form, and this guitar is no exception with the uniquely female styling used in the bridge and headstock shape.

Specifications include a sitka spruce top and quarter sawn old growth asian rosewood back and sides. The guitar has a hand carved Brazilian Rosewood "lipstick" bridge and Custom pick guard.

Ebony fretboard with paua shell dot fret board inlays and side markers, with ebony front headstock overlay and "JT" inlaid in paua shell. The guitar has mahogany binding with white-black-white black-white purfling outlining the Asian rosewood back and custom design end graft.

The hand carved neck profile is a "C" shape and is flamed and tinted, has an ebony heel cap and gold Shaller tuning machines.  There is a LR Baggs active pickup and the guitar sounds great when played through a PA. This guitar is in very good condition. The neck is straight, no fret buzz or noticeable fret wear and the bridge is down tight
