This Terada is a Japanese Dreadnought style guitar. Terada began making string instruments in the mid 1950s. During the 1970s, Terada was producing over 10,000 guitars per month in three factories in Nagoya Japan for both the domestic & international markets. This guitar is one of their “Martin clones” but does not sound like a laminated guitar. The bass on this thing is booming like a Martin D-28. The treble and midrange are very articulate on this guitar. This guitar is extremely loud with lots of sustain. A well built, good sounding inexpensive instrument, perfect for a travel guitar or beginners. It is in good condition with no issues.
