This Guild JF55-NT Jumbo acoustic guitar is in very good condition. Built in the USA in Guild's Westerly factory, this Guild boasts solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top and full 17" wide lower bout. A loud and resonant instrument, this Guild has incredible richness and superb sustain. The sound possesses a powerful low end without being overly boomy.
The action is low and comfortable with minimal fret wear. The mahogany neck has a fairly slender C shape with consistent depth and moderate shoulder as you travel up the bound ebony fretboard. The guitar plays cleanly up the 25 5/8" scale and the nut is a hand-carved piece of bone measuring 1 11/16". An upscale model, the fretboard on the JF-55 features multi-ply binding and pearl block inlays bisected by abalone Vs, and the headstock features Guild's signature G shield logo. The original Grover Rotomatic tuners are intact too, turning smoothly with gold plating that shows only light wear on the buttons.
The body features an abalone rosette and solid ebony bridge. This guitar has minimal cosmetic wear.
