Guild F061 - GF60M

This Guild GF60M was made in Westerly RI, in 1987, designed by George Gruhn.  In the sound hole it is "incorrectly" labeled as a F61. Built during the brief, but wonderful, period of the George Gruhn/Kim Walker collaboration.  Kim Walker is now considered by many to be one of the top acoustic builders in the world, and his guitars, when they can be found, sell in the tens of thousands of dollars.  The Guilds built in this short period are truly special guitars, and this one is no exception. The materials are top-grade with a high quality spruce top and ebony board and bridge.  Neck angle is great, and the playability is superb. This is a rare and wonderful guitar that is seldom seen for sale.
