This BC Rich B38 Dreadnought acoustic guitar was built by Bernardo Rico (AKA BC Rich) in Los Angeles, Ca. In those days he had anglicized his name and was exclusively building acoustic guitars (long before the company morphed into the line of guitars and basses offered thru BC Rich today).
It has great resonation and low action with a strong punch for Bluegrass flat picking. This is a loud, elegantly voiced, great sounding flat top guitar. This guitar is over 40 years old so it has some minor wear, finish checking and, a few light scratches on the top, but is in very good condition.
The neck is a one piece mahogany neck with a full C profile with low string action, spruce top, gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood Back and Sides, Abalone rosette, bone nut and saddle, bone bridge pins, original pepperoni color pick guard and, it has the original Grover Imperial Tuners.
